Chris Plourde is a Los Angeles based personal fitness expert with over 15 years of experience. His clients range from competitive triathletes, cyclists and runners to general fitness enthusiasts, new moms and celebrities. In addition to his private clients, he runs a uniquely challenging, small group training camp which utilizes his fun, effective and safe training style. Chris also teaches Spinning and Yoga at www.RevolutionFitness.net in Santa Monica where his passion for coaching others to reach their fitness goals and beyond is apparent in the popularity of his classes. As an advisor with www.GetFitGoPlay.com , a non-profit organization, he is involved in helping high-school students achieve an understanding of how to lead a healthy, fun and adventurous lifestyle. Chris has traveled throughout the world providing continuing education and lecturing on the physical and mental aspects of fitness as a Master Instructor/Presenter for Madd Dog Athletics and Spinning®. He is currently presenting his very own workshop designed to empower fitness professionals to create a dynamic fitness experience, find their authentic voice and grow their businesses.
As a motivator and fitness expert, Chris has been involved in fitness his entire life...from playing team sports in High School and College to competing in endurance events, skiing, paddle boarding and practicing yoga. After relocating to the west coast, Chris became a competitive mountain biker and road cyclist, racing in numerous 24 hour, 12 hour and circuit events.
Chris has a degree in Business Marketing and Exercise Science and is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM as well as having completed a 200 Yoga Teacher Certification through Yoga Poser in Venice, CA. Chris’ approach to fitness and athletics is simple, have fun, be challenged, understand the process and enjoy the journey!
