I started working for Various Health Clubs in 1984, teaching swimming and group exercise classes. To earn money for college, I was able to teach at the Tucson Racquet Club by the University where I fell in love with being outdoors, sand volleyball and teaching fitness, tennis and swimming! It is a great way to meet all kinds of people, a good way to stay healthy, be creative and have fun with others while sweating! (It is not as much fun sweating by yourself). Casey attended her first hot yoga class on April 1, 2006. She found it not only extremely challenging, but also rewarding and fulfilling. She fell in love with her practice immediately. After practicing for nearly two years, she decided to take the leap and attend Baron Baptiste's Power Vinyasa Level 1 teacher training in February of 2008. Baron's teacher training had a profound effect on Casey and the transformation began. Wanting more, she attended Baron's Level 2 training just a few months later in August. Dawn Torres is the owner of Laughing Buddha Yoga Studio. Like so many others, Dawn first found yoga when a friend talked her into attending a class at a gym. Fusion Hot Yoga
In preparation for deployment with her US Navy Reserve unit in 2006, Rayne thought maybe she should try "that hot yoga" to prepare her for desert heat and help with tight muscles. She found it helped with that and so much more! In the short five weeks that she had before deployment not only was this the life changing practice that she needed to prepare her, but an experience that she wanted to share with as many people as she could. She returned from Iraq with just enough time to get her required solid six months of practice in to attend Bikram's Teacher Training in the fall of 2007.
