I started working for Various Health Clubs in 1984, teaching swimming and group exercise classes. To earn money for college, I was able to teach at the Tucson Racquet Club by the University where I fell in love with being outdoors, sand volleyball and teaching fitness, tennis and swimming! It is a great way to meet all kinds of people, a good way to stay healthy, be creative and have fun with others while sweating! (It is not as much fun sweating by yourself). The best remedy for stress is a deep belly laugh and a good workout!
When someone says to me, "I really didn't feel like coming and working out, but I am glad I did now I feel Better!" It fills me up seeing participants love their workout and choosing to be healthy. Now, I see my kids wanting to stay healthy and learn how to exercise properly. I love planting that seed!
