CrossFit Aspire
Justin McGinley is the owner and head coach at CrossFit Aspire in Cherry Hill, NJ. He loves the simplicity, variety, challenge and effectiveness of CrossFit. “We take useful movements, heavy weights, sprints, basic gymnastics, body weight circuits, and Olympic lifting, constantly vary the weights, the reps, the length of workouts, and the movements, and we do them as hard as we can.” He feels the best way to improve someone’s overall fitness is to identify, practice, and improve their weaknesses, and encourages clients to “make their weaknesses their strengths.” He is a Level 1 certified CrossFit Trainer, with additional certifications in Kettlebells, Olympic and Power lifting. Hooked on the body-mind-spirit connection that her yoga practice was fostering, Piera pursued the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga teacher training program with Bill Raup at Baptiste-affiliate studio Power Yoga Works, hoping to broaden her understanding of yoga technique and philosophy, and to learn how to share that knowledge. ... While all of her high school classmates couldn't wait to get to the scrimmage part of field hockey practice, Rachelle quickly learned that she looked forward to the team runs. It wasn't long before she joined the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. "I started running with my mom when I was a kid," remembers Rachelle. In her 20's, chilly New Jersey winters drove her indoors for the warmth of a yoga studio. That spring, Rachelle noticed the tremendous benefits that her yoga practice had on her running performance. Within two years she received her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training from Yogawood in Collingswood, NJ. Rachelle enjoys teaching everyone, especially athletes, the benefits of yoga through active, flowing and strength-building classes. In 2011, the warm New Jersey... Read the profile >>
