Melanie McGovern

Anjali Power Yoga

Melanie McGovern was introduced to yoga in 2000 and was immediately hooked. She loved the mental and physical challenge that it gave her. Within a year of regular practice, she knew that her yoga journey would blossom into so much more. She became certified in 2002 and has had the amazing opportunity of teaching in Minnesota, Hawai’i, and New Jersey. Melanie’s natural curiosity has allowed her to take classes in a variety of different styles including Anusara, Bikram, and Vinyasa. This exploration allowed her to find Power Vinyasa Yoga. For Melanie, Power Vinyasa Yoga gave her both the physical and mental workout in a safe, fun, and challenging way. She completed a 200 hour certification with Johnna Smith in 2011. Melanie encourages her students to enjoy the practice as... Read the profile >>

Rachelle Damminger

While all of her high school classmates couldn't wait to get to the scrimmage part of field hockey practice, Rachelle quickly learned that she looked forward to the team runs. It wasn't long before she joined the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. "I started running with my mom when I was a kid," remembers Rachelle. In her 20's, chilly New Jersey winters drove her indoors for the warmth of a yoga studio. That spring, Rachelle noticed the tremendous benefits that her yoga practice had on her running performance. Within two years she received her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training from Yogawood in Collingswood, NJ. Rachelle enjoys teaching everyone, especially athletes, the benefits of yoga through active, flowing and strength-building classes. In 2011, the warm New Jersey... Read the profile >>
