After becoming involved in triathlons in college, Northern Virginia native Bob hit the inevitable working man's slump in his mid-20s as he worked long hours on the Capitol Hill staff of a U.S. Congressman. After taking a new job (with less hours), he began rededicating himself to fitness; competing in countless road races, marathons, and triathlons.
During a particularly long and harsh winter where he couldn't train outdoors, he found solace in group fitness classes at the gym. Realizing his passion for the sport and teaching, he took the plunge and became a cycling instructor. He has segued that teaching experience and his experience in running and triathlons to design two new classes: treadmill race training class and his new signature class, Tri Training Challenge, which combines the three elements of the triathlon -- swimming, biking, and running -- into one class at Equinox Fitness in Tysons Corner.
When he's not at Equinox, you can find him working the "halls of Congress" as a lobbyist, hanging out with his wife, Noelle, or doting on his son, Landon.
Schedule: Monday Cycle 9:30a; Wednesday Interval Treadmill Class 7p; Thursday Cycle 6:30p
