I am passionate mother of three beautiful young men, and forever grateful and honored to be called their mom.
Fitness and nutrition have always been a vital part of my life. Since college I have always concidered myself a gym rat spending countless hours taking classes and pushing weights. It was not until Yoga did I realize the true meaning of connecting the mind, body and spirit. When I stepped onto the mat for the first time and felt a connection with myself that went beyond just physical exercise, I knew this was something I wanted to share with as many people as possible. I received my first 200 hour yoga certification in 2008, and have not stopped the learning process. I personally believe yoga changes lives one breath at a time, and feel so blessed to be a part of something much bigger than me. I encourage my students to have their own yoga experience and to grow and transform on and off the mat; to show up with no judgement or expectations and move organically with their breath and body. l strive to help students find a balance between challenging the mind and body while playing with their personal edge in the safest environment. Making connections in the class and in the community is a gift yoga has given to me.
In 2010, I stumbled upon Crossfit and quickly found yoga and crossfit were a perfect combination where strength meets grace. As well as improving flexibility and mobility, yoga challenges muscular and mental endurance, which falls directly in line with the demands of crossfit. Sooooo…..a chance to touch more lives. I soon became a crossfit coach. I personally believe in the life changing benefits of both Yoga and Functional Fitness. My ultimate goal is to touch and inspire as many lives to make a positive lifestyle change both mentally and physically. Along the way I received my USAW Level 1, Kettlebell Certification and Trx Group Certification. I love what I do because I am able to share my passions, and I look forward to working with as many people as possible.
