Jill Wheeler is a professional counselor, leadership consultant, writer, yoga instructor, adventurer and athlete who specializes in transformational and empowerment experiences that create positive change for individuals, groups and communities.
Jill lived in the Rocky Mountains for more than a decade, climbing, skiing and mountaineering and received her Masters in Psychology at the University of Denver. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Jill has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups experiencing a range of psychosocial issues. As a climbing guide and outdoor educator, she has led individuals, special interest groups and corporate clients on high impact, life-changing adventures. Throughout the years, Jill has guided and instructed multi-sports, including ropes courses, rock climbing, mountaineering, surfing, white-water kayaking and rafting.
As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Jill is committed to providing the safest and highest quality yoga, wellness and adventure classes, workshops and retreats. She has blended her love of adventure and passion for yoga to create Paddleboard Yoga classes and workshops that are fun way to connect with nature. Emphasizing proper alignment, body awareness and safety, strength and flexibility are developed at an individual’s pace. Jill’s holistic approach to overall fitness blends traditional psychotherapy, adventure education and wellness coaching to create high energy, values-driven and meaningful experiences for individuals and groups.
