Brie Reid

Zen Bones Yoga

Child philosopher, yogi, liberation artist and lover; Brie is the founder of Zen Bones, a hip little yoga studio in Newmarket, Ontario. She is notorious for marching to the beat of her own drum and she doesn't subscribe to any particular style or teaching although she has been trained in Cassical Hatha and the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo. Her greatest influences come from being a lifelong student of philosophy in which she has a degree from the University of Guelph. She loves to share metaphysics and mysticism in yoga and to see the transformation of consciousness but she digs the physical-anatomical-body stuff, too. She is a firm believer in yoga as therapy and though she's constantly smiling and chuckling, her intention to heal is serious and profound. Read the profile >>

Kyle Dale

Yoga Source

Kyle has an approach to the practice that is very much in touch with its original purpose; to omit divine love to all creatures of the earth (although he still has trouble with spiders) and to be closer to God. Kyle is a dedicated practitioner of the asthanga yoga method and practices at or around 4:30 anit-meridian every morning. This practice liberates him from the highly conditioned western existence, and allows him to walk the path of happiness. One of his ambitions is to travel to India to study ashtanga yoga from its very source in Mysore. Aside from yoga, Kyle is a fanatic for all music older than he is. He is especially a fan of jazz, swing, be-bop, cool and free jazz. Kyle believes in the power of music and the influence it can have on our lives, and can often be spotted... Read the profile >>
