Jessica Duwe is an owner of The Bar Method Newport Beach with ambassador Whitney Bania. Whitney and Jessica became friends while living in San Francisco when both were addicted to taking Bar Method classes. They then were trained by The Bar Method creator Burr Leonard and started teaching in the San Francisco studios. A Pasadena native, Jessica is a graduate of UC Berkeley and ended up living in San Francisco for many years after graduating. She was eager to move back to Southern California, so she and Whitney decided to open The Bar Method's first Orange County location at Crystal Cove Promenade. Making the move from cold, foggy San Francisco to the gorgeous Pacific Ocean views at The Bar Method at Crystal Cove, Jessica loves going to work everyday. It continues to be greatly rewarding seeing Bar Method clients change their bodies and their lives for the better. Jessica's love affair with The Bar Method started when she was frustrated by going to the gym for years and never seeing results. She knew without a doubt from her first class at The Bar Method that these classes would completely change her body. The gain in strength and flexibility she now is so proud of seemed like an impossible goal before she started taking classes 5 times a week. The personalized attention everyone receives throughout a Bar Method class helped motivate and sustain her through the toughest parts of class. In addition to Jessica, The Bar Method has helped countless people become more limber, stronger and sculpt their body. Now that she owns her own studio, Jessica loves that her work clothes consist of lululemon apparel. One of the best reasons to get up to teach a 6 am class is the chance to put on a brand new piece of lululemon!
