Crossfit Vibe Owner and Instructor
After graduating from CSULB with a Business Marketing degree, I did a lot of soul searching when it came time to looking for a career path. I held several jobs in sales and consumer marketing position before I realized that my passion lay within my health and fitness as well as that of others. I decided personal training and nutrition was the area that best fit my lifestyle. I heard about CrossFit through a friend and decided to sign up for the certification in October 2009 without any CrossFit experience and was hooked.
I was an avid runner prior to CrossFit and had run a dozen or so half marathons and the LA Full Marathon. Running and Crossfitting has given me a PR time that no other training has. I also enjoy competing in local CrossFit competitions.
I opened my own CrossFit gym two years ago with the intent to show women that CrossFit is for everybody even though it is not for everybody. I believe we provide a less intimidating environment for people to come in and try out a workout.
CrossFit has truly changed my life in so many ways and I look forward to the opportunity to continue sharing my experiences and introducing the value of the CrossFit methodology to strangers, friends and family.
My first BHAG is to ultimately pursue a career in fitness modeling. I want to represent myself in an industry where strength and fitness is beautiful and graceful too.
My other BHAG was to get a group together and travel up to Vancouver for Seawheeze 2014. So I am pleased to say that I have a total of 10 girls officially registered for the Seawheeze Half Marathon. We will be up there in August representing Newport Beach.
