Derek Beres is the creator of Earthrise YogaTM, a Vinyasa-based practice with an emphasis on the physical aspect of asanas, as well as jnana and bhakti yogas. He currently teaches fourteen weekly classes, as well as privately, in New York City, and travels internationally as an instructor and lecturer on yoga, as well as his work in international music as a journalist and DJ. Marion Roaman was born and raised in New York but lived in Boulder, Colorado for nearly a decade. It was in Boulder where she discovered her passion for indoor cycling. Immediately hooked, Marion began taking two or three classes a day. After selling her half of her catering company, she came home to New York City. A bit confused as to what to do next, Marion found solace in the Indoor Cycling studios all over in the gyms of Manhattan. Paula Lynch has studied yoga since 1996 and has been teaching since 2004. She is a Yoga Works Certified Instructor affiliated with the Yogaworks Teacher Training programs. Her teaching style is influenced largely by the meditative flow and heat of Astanga and the precision and playfulness of Iyengar yoga.
