Kira Stokes, a graduate of Boston College with a BS in psychology and a minor in health science, has excelled in the personal training and fitness industry for over 16 years. She began her career as a partner with Train Boston, New England's premier medically-based fitness and training center and Boston Sports Clubs. She established herself as one of the elite trainers and fitness instructors in the Boston area, moving on to become a top instructor at the world-renowned The Sports Club LA and Equinox – one of the most prestigious fitness companies in the country. In 2007, Kira moved to the New York area.
Since 1998, Kira has been the sole proprietor of her own personal training company, "The Stoked Method". Today, in addition to her private one-on-one training clientele, she teaches expert level fitness classes at New York City's premier health clubs, Reebok Sports Club/NY and The Sports Club LA. In addition, Kira teaches at Equinox Scarsdale in Scarsdale, NY (Westchester County), Equinox Greenwich in Greenwich, CT and previously Core Fusion at NYC's Exhale Spa.
Kira's personal training clients have included professional athletes and celebrities. She has trained several women from the television show The View, currently Sherri Shepherd. Additionally, Kira has trained Miss New York 2009, Alyse Zwick, for her preparation of the Miss New York competition and still continues to train her today.

Kira has won numerous awards including "Top Personal Trainer in Boston" and one of the "Top 25 Trainers in the Town Sports International Corporation" (parent company of Boston Sports Clubs), a company of over 1,500 trainers in 143 Sports Clubs throughout the nation.
Kira's focus is on innovative training, concentrating on transforming the body and mind. She has developed a signature training technique, called the The Stoked Method, that combines functional and traditional methods of working the body. Her personal training methods have evolved to include a unique combination of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports specific drills, yoga and Pilates. Kira combines all of these disciplines into her proprietary total body conditioning series of classes called "Stoked360", "Stoked Body Burn", "Stoked Primal" and "StokedABS".
Kira holds several certifications including NASM – CPT, NASM - PES, NSCA, ACE, and Core Fusion as well as specialized certifications in Performance Enhancement, Pre- and Post-natal, and Kettlebells. She is currently in the third phase of her Budokon red belt training.
