Beaver Boxing Club

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jill came to Ottawa in 1991, where she later join the Ottawa Beaver Boxing Club in 1998.

Some of her achievements include: 2004 Boxing Ontarion Co-Female Athlete of the Year, Best Female Boxer Eastern Region 2003, 3-time Brampton Cup Champion, Bronze Medalist in the 2003 Canadian Championships.

Jill is a level one boxing coach and is presently working on becoming a level two coach. Her goal is to promote the sport of Female Boxing, to continue to push herslef in training and to see how far she can go.

Jill loves to see the reaction of people when she tells them that she is a boxer.

She graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Carleton University and is presently employed by Semiconductor Insights. She is a driving force at the boxing club, both participating in, and conducting rigorous workouts with both combatant and non combatant members.
