Chris' passion for athletics developed early when he started wrestling at six years old. Following his desires to achieve as much as he could in wrestling, he attended Lock Haven University and wrestled for their Division 1 program. He graduated in 2002 with a degree in Commercial Recreation after compteting in the National Championship Tournament and being ranked in the top 20 in the nation. CrossFit has given Chris the opportunity to continue pursuing his love for athletics. Gardie, age 42, is a strength and conditioning specialist. His passion is making people get seriously fit. He works at Intermountain Health Care, the Park City Medical Clinic in the Physical Therapy Department specializing in post rehab, and at Dakota Mountain Lodge's Golden Door Spa where he is a Kinesis and group fitness Instructor. Gardie owns a 2 1/2 year-old Weimaraner named Kenya who he loves taking on trail runs and mountain bike rides. Lauren's love for movement and dance brought her to yoga. She studied Bikram and Ashtanga yoga and later became certified in both styles. She received her certification off the beautiful shores of Thailand. She then taught throughout Portland, Oregon at various studios. She has now been teaching and living in Park City for four years. Her classes combine core strength, balance, flexibility and breath within a moving meditation. She encourages her students to tap into their power and take it off the mat in the most positive way. Shelby has been teach yoga and Personal Fitness Coaching for over 10 years. Her teachings are a unique blend of different styles of yoga including Hatha yoga, Integral yoga and Anusanra. Shelby started her yoga training in Kauai, and continued at the Integral Yoga Institute in NYC. Her passion for yoga is as intense as her passion for eating healthy and raw foods. her knowledge and skills are present in her wellness seminars, nutrition classes and raw foods catering.
