Becca has extensive experience and qualifications within the world of yoga, nutrition, writing, media, education, and environmentalism. Through her business Park City Holistic Health, she helps clients to create sustainable health plans based on yoga, nutrition, and stress management. Becca also teaches yoga, meditation, nutrition, and environmentalism classes at local studios in Park City as well as the University of Utah and Westminster College. She is currently the editor and regular contributor for the nutrition section of a new global foodie magazine called Basil. Rebecca also writes a popular monthly column for Catalyst Magazine, “The Alchemical Kitchen”, that describes particular food preservation and in- home artisan food techniques, offering nutritious, delicious, and safe recipes for the reader to do at home. During the summers, Becca works closely with the local Park City farm – Copper Moose Farm. She is the lead cook for their popular Harvest Dinner, which use only local ingredients. She teaches sold-out preservation classes to the community and farm members. She also makes all of the value added products for Copper Moose Farm– like pickled vegetables and canned soups – for the farm share members and local markets. She’s been known to teach a yoga class or two there as well! Becca loves the amazing culture that is a core part of Lululemon. From her first time she taught a free yoga in the park class for Lululemon, she could see the positive influence the Lululemon store was having in her community – it’s not just about the amazing clothes and style, but the support of community and how this is essential to each of our own well-being.
