Cue the theme song of Danger Mouse… it’s time to introduce our most adventurous, thrill-seeking and fun-loving Lululemon ambassador, Ceinwen from Positive Lifestyle Training. Whether she’s dodging Great White Sharks on her way to a Rottnest Island triple crossing, mountain biking over fallen trees in adventure races or running along the beach with her dog Rio, this energiser bunny doesn’t have a pause button.
Ceinwen’s love for sport was fostered at an early age as a national level swimmer. She was passionate and trained harder than anyone to be the best swimmer she could, but eventually she decided her results weren’t matching her dedication and set her sights on something new.
Ceinwen completed triathlons, half ironmans and marathons before finally returning to her love for swimming, this time in the ocean instead of the pool. After a few teams and duos, Ceinwen was hooked on the Rottnest Channel Swim and has now completed it solo four times. Thriving on pushing herself further, she signed up for the pinnacle of open water swimming and completed the English Channel Swim in 2011.
She’s since swum around Manhattan (the prestigious Manhattan Island Swim, just a short 48km paddle) and won it before popping the third jewel in her illustrious swim crown with the Santa Catalina Island Crossing. All of this combined had her nominated for Western Australian Sports Star of the Year in 2013 – yup, we’re just a little proud of our pocket rocket!
Despite multiple sporting accolades of her own, Ceinwen’s dream is to inspire others to live their best and healthiest life. Her personal training business, shared with her amazing husband Andy, is another passion as she works closely with clients to set and achieve their goals, and make their lives better.
A firm believer in a balanced life, excellent nutrition, healthy living and having fun wherever you are and whatever you’re doing – Ceinwen embodies everything we believe in at Lululemon. This little lady is constantly on the lookout for the next adventure and we can’t wait to see what she’s up to next!
