Running is Moira's way of life. Growing up on a farm, Moira spent many hours running through the paddocks and keeping fit with her sisters. After moving to the city for high school, Moira saw success in running, at both a state and national level, racing a variety of distances between 800m and 21km. With a variety of leadership roles such as Sports, Athletics and Cross Country Captain throughout high school, as well as for the Western Australian State Cross Country team, Moira found enjoyment in encouraging others to reach their potential.

You'll often find her running with friends or to music along the beach, river or bush paths. Currently, Moira trains in accordance to her goals however takes a relaxed, opportunistic approach, running whenever and where ever she can. Waterskiing, rollerblading and pilates constitute Moira's cross training program and her activities are fuelled by a vegetarian diet which is 'as close to the earth as possible.'

Moira is passionate about helping people seek healthier, happier and more balanced lives, which is made possible through her work as a personal trainer, running guru and group outdoor fitness instructor with Babes on the Run. She is also completing a Bachelor in Health Science (Health Promotion) at university. Her goal is to educate and inspire individuals and communities to take control of their health to ensure they are making the most out of life.

In the future, Moira hopes to continue to 'run the world'. Her journey involves travelling the world, running in new and interesting places, experiencing different cultures, trying their cuisines and meeting likeminded people.
