I have always loved working out and for me, being a high school and college athlete was a great way to learn more about weightlifting and other techniques in strength and conditioning. I realized I could make a career out of my love for fitness while I was serving in the United States Marines Corps. I was put in charge of our sniper teams physical fitness and became the Platoon PT Coordinator. After serving my 4 years as a Marine I decided to return home and enroll at The University of Pittsburgh to get my Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology. I graduated in 2008.
