Ally was born and raised in Dallas and started dancing at a young age. She loved the expression of tap and jazz and not to mention the frilly colorful outfits she got to wear for recitals. What girl doesn’t love sequins! After years of formal dance classes she shifted gears in high school and got involved in cheerleading and helped to take her squad to NCA Nationals for the first time in the school’s history.
Since graduating college at SMU, Ally wanted to maintain that active lifestyle and tried different work outs but none seemed to effect her body and spirit like Bar Method. After the first Bar Method class Ally took, she knew it would change her life… but she didn’t realize just how much it would change her life. Within several months of taking classes, she was approached to be a teacher. After being in the advertising industry for 13 years full of countless TV shoots, hotel rooms, and airline flights, it was time for a complete lifestyle change and with the encouragement of her husband she began training for the Bar Method and has never looked back. She was impressed with how it integrated the fat burning format of interval training, the muscle shaping technique of isometrics, the elongating principles of dance conditioning, and the science of physical therapy. Now in her late 30s she feels stronger and more fit than she did in her early 20s!She is looking forward to making a difference in other peoples bodies and spirits and hopes that Bar Method can positively affect peoples’ lives like it has hers. When she is not in the studio you can find her hanging by the pool, jetting around on her scooter or traveling with her husband, Peter.
