Candace started practicing yoga about 8 years ago and right away began to notice the connection she felt to her true self. Always a more quiet and shy person, yoga has taught her how to be more comfortable and confident in her own skin. She believes wholeheartedly that she fell in love with the practice because of its total integration of mind, body and spirit. She knows, through that integration, we can achieve heath and wellness. Yoga is about transformation but more importantly, its about remembering who we truly are. Getting back to ourselves, back to our truth.
Candace trained to teach Vinyasa Yoga in her home town of Livermore, Ca with three amazing and inspiring yogini's Kelli Barnett, Laurie Gallagher, and Suzanna Spring. When she's not teaching or practicing yoga you can find her traveling, sipping coffee, reading, taking long car rides with her husband Chris, outdoor napping, hiking and cuddling with her dog Duke. You can find Candace teaching classes and workshops at various yoga studios in the East Bay Area including: Dragonfly Yoga and Wellness, Get Fit Yoga, The Yoga Company, and Xplore Yoga.
