Portsmouth : Portsmouth

Jack Davis

I have been a runner for 43 years. I started in High School and never stopped.

I ran my first marathon in 1996 and have completed a total of 10 full marathons, countless half marathons and many local 5 and 10K’s

I began coaching in early 2000 as the Run Coach for Team in Training for NH, ME and northern MA. They are part of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. I trained runners to run both Half and Full marathons while they raised money for blood born cancers. In the course of 4 years I trained well over 2000 runners.

I left TNT to help local non profit organizations raise money by coaching athletes to run half marathons while they raised money for their respective organizations. To date I have worked with New Hampshire SASS, Growing Places schools and On Belay.

I recently received my distance running coaching certification with the Road Runners Club of America. This was a combination of a 16 hour class room, online exam and CPR/First aid course.

I am also the founder of the Seacoast Slacker running team that is a social running group that meets every Sunday morning and trains for various local races. In addition to this, I am the Run Ambassador for the lululemon Showroom in Portsmouth, leading their weekly Run Club runs on Wednesday nights.
