Gina has always believed in living a healthy lifestyle and was naturally drawn to the health and fitness world out of school. For years she ran health clubs and was a personal trainer. Gina has been teaching yoga in the Princeton area for more than 14 years. She has studied at the Sivananda Ashram and Kripalu and has also studied with Baron Baptiste, Rodney Yee, and Shiva Rea. Gina teaches hot yoga, power yoga and vinyasa flow. Her classes are physically challenging with an emphasis on honoring one’s self without judgment. She strives to create a sense of community in her classes where students feel comfortable, make connections, and create wellness inside and out. Linda started practicing yoga over 10 years ago¸ seeking to balance her busy life of work and caring for her two young children. She believes that yoga spurred a change in her life and the way she viewed and cared for her body, and that inspired her to share the practice with others. Mecquel is a practitioner and dancer who has been teaching yoga and movement in the Princeton area since 2002. With her degree in Psychology and years of work as a behavioral therapist and personal trainer, Mecquel addresses aspects of the whole person, body and mind, in yoga practice and movement. After welcoming her second daughter in 1999, Nancy left her career in corporate America to follow her love for teaching and fitness. She became a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and shortly thereafter, pursued her interest in becoming a Certified Spinning® Instructor. Nancy took her passion for the Spinning® program to a whole new level, and this past year, applied to be on the Master Instructor Team. Now, Nancy is 1 of 130 elite representatives of the Spinning® program across the globe who educates and inspires other fitness professionals, teaching Spinning® Orientations and continuing education workshops. Romy has been involved in the health and fitness field for over thirty years. She began as a swimming instructor in high school and continued teaching as an aerobics and group fitness instructor throughout college. Romy is an athlete who played soccer, volleyball and ran track in high school and college. Romy continues to play competitive volleyball and coaches her sons’ soccer teams. She recently rediscovered her love for running and has completed three marathons and runs triathlons. Romy’s teaching style reflects her own practice, which began in 1992 when a friend gave her a Brian Kest Power Yoga video. Yasi began her life in athletics in middle school due to peer pressure and an 'everybody is doing it' attitude. She continued in high school where she pursued her athletic career in college to play field hockey. After school and athletics was over, she looked to running as a way to get her body back in shape and fill the void that playing a sport once held. After running casually for a few months, she looked into triathlons to give her another goal to reach towards. She completed her first sprint triathlon in September of 2008 and has been going ever since. As she began tackling longer distances in triathlon, she decided she would also test her legs in a stand-alone half-marathon. Lara is a 200-Hour RYT with over 14 years of teaching, registered physical therapist, natural foods chef, and health coach based in Princeton, NJ. She fosters her growing community through her studio classes, workshops at Princeton University and in the tri-state area, and the support of the wonderful lululemon athletica Princeton team.
