Pinnacle Fitness Systems, Can Do Fitness Clubs
Germaine has taken a background in health science, a passion for people and a love of Spinning and created a huge community of enthusiastic Spinning participants and cyclists in the greater Princeton area. Teaching fitness classes since the late ’80’s (Yikes!) it wasn’t until Spinning came East that she found her favorite vehicle for pulling potential from people of all ages. “Spinning has given me a voice and a platform to reach out and really have an impact on the lives of those in my classes.”
Years of riding, running and competitive tennis created stressors and Germaine found she needed balance in her body and her life. Intuitively, she found Yoga and after completing a 200 hour training, was onto yet another journey, creating classes to uniquely satisfy those in her studios. She is the creator of The AntiAging Series, a yoga class series for folks “of a certain age” and teaches Yoga for Athletes to athletes from 16 to 76! While raising two athletes, she realized that high school athletic programs were woefully lacking in many aspects of training and periodizing the multisport high school athlete. This was the inspiration for opening Pinnacle Training Systems with partner, Dan Ziebel, a respected Princeton area physical therapist.
Germaine’s teaching style is all about empowerment and accountability, with challenges presented to her students with humor and love. A native New Yorker, she has lived in central New Jersey for 20 years with her husband Randy, her kids, Ali and JT and her two big, beautiful yellow Labs. She is grateful to her teacher, Dr. Jaime Stover Schmitt, for bringing the gift that is Yoga to her life!
