My first experience on the yoga mat was more than 20 years ago. While my practice has ebbed and flowed at times, I have always found my way back to the mat, looking for that sense of joyful connection between body & mind. Yoga can be strong or yielding, a fast flow or deep & steady, contemplative, informative or playful. When teaching, I try to find balance between all these possibilities. My philosophy is expressed beautifully by Thomas Merton: ”Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.”
