Internationally recognized for his work in high-performance sport, Bruce has over 20 years experience working with sport programming for athletes ranging from provincial team to Olympic/Paralympic Champions. Several of Bruce’s athletes compete in the National Hockey League, Canadian Football League, Professional Volleyball and Basketball Leagues in Europe; Professional Soccer Leagues in Canada, and Professional Hockey Leagues in both Europe and North America; as well as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, World Championships, and other major international sporting events.
As a Sport Physiotherapist, Bruce has been a member of the Canadian Medical Team at several major international events such as the 1999 Pan American Games and various World Championships. Since 1988, he has been an active Medical Team service provider for numerous Saskatchewan and Canada Games.
In addition to his athlete-based work, Bruce Craven is a highly-sought presenter who couples expertise with skilled teaching abilities. From local organizations to major international sport medicine conferences, Bruce has provided workshops, seminars, and lectures on a variety of topics in the areas of biomechanics, exercise physiology and sport medicine. He is also a sport consultant for several local, provincial and national organizations involved with the ongoing development of sport medicine and various aspects of high performance sport within Canada.
