Angie Kahler

NuFit

"Running, fitness & nutrition are my boom!" Angie Kahler, owner and founder of NuFit, is one of only 20 running coaches in WA State to be certified by Road Runners Club of America. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer. In 2001, a friend invited Angie to train for a marathon to raise funds for medical research. As they finished their first mile of training around Seattle’s Green Lake, Angie remembers saying, “How are we ever going to do 25 more miles?” Six months later, she did just that and successfully crossed the finish line. After completing a second marathon, Angie left her corporate career to study fitness and nutrition; meanwhile becoming an avid marathoner, yogini and foodie herself. Caroline Weiner

Caroline Weiner is a master trainer for barre3, which combines techniques from ballet, yoga and Pilates for a flexibility and strength-building workout. She is also Yoga Alliance certified and currently serves an instructor and studio manager for the barre3 Seattle Capitol Hill location. Caroline recently relocated from Portland where she was a founding instructor for barre3. Caroline trained directly with Sadie Lincoln, creator of the barre3 method. Throughout her ten-year tenure on the U.S. Ski Team, Libby embraced the limitless benefits of yoga. The balance and perspective she cultivated through her yoga practice helped her to achieve her dream of competing in the Olympic Games in 2006, and ultimately, to gracefully retire from ski racing in 2008. Leaving her athletic career behind, Libby completed her 200-hour Teacher Training in Goa, India in 2009, and graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in philosophy and Asian religion. Delighted to be teaching yoga in her native Pacific Northwest, Libby instructs a vinyasa flow style that is dynamic yet conscientious, and creative yet centering. Paul Zavaglia

Riley Athletics and CrossFit 425

Paul Zavaglia is a CrossFit level 1 and CrossFit Football instructor. He teaches at Riley Athletics and CrossFit 425. Paul has been exposed to sports and fitness since he was 4 years old. In high school he played football and ran hurdles on the track team, and in college Paul found his real calling playing rugby. He played for a stint at Washington State University and finished his career in 2010 at the rival University of Washington. Paul currently assists the Husky rugby team with their strength and conditioning programming. In early 2008 Paul stumbled on CrossFit and was addicted instantly.
