Andreas Fetz

I love movement, and I want to share the joy and physical benefits that I find through exercise and yoga with you. Having been in some form of athletic training for most of my life, I’ve always loved the joy and sense of play that can be found through physicality. I grew up in Missoula, Montana, where I was a three-time all-state soccer player and a Tai Kwan Do state champion in my division. After moving to the Pacific Northwest in the late ’90s, I took my first yoga class in 2001 and over the years it has become a vital part of my life. I found and continue to find it nourishing both physically and spiritually. In 2008 I decided that I wanted to start teaching, and enrolled in the teacher training program at Seattle’s 8 Limbs Yoga Studio, which was fantastic. The teachers there... Read the profile >>

Bryna Fahrner

CorePower

Bryna began practicing yoga to a Rodney Yee DVD as dryland training with her swim team. She felt the benefits to her body, she was sleeping better and more relaxed. She took her first Hot Yoga class in high school when CorePower’s Minneapolis studio opened and was exhilarated by the physical challenge and mental clarity the practice brought. After graduating from Michigan Tech, she felt a pull back to the heated studios. She moved home to Minneapolis in the fall of 2009 where she completed teacher training at CorePower Yoga. While yoga continues to be a great physical practice, teacher training allowed her to find a deeper connection to her practice which she has only begun to explore. She strives to ‘get comfortable in the uncomfortable’, cultivating joy and courage. She hopes to... Read the profile >>

Casey Petersen

hauteyoga queen anne

Casey is an athlete, i.e, youngest child in a competitive and loving family. Brought up on the kind streets of Costa Mesa, CA where she could roam the neighborhood from park to park without fear and just had to be home by dark. Soccer was her sport until a six inch growth spurt hit my whole body except my feet and then it was volleyball. In junior college off-season it was requested of Casey to take yoga, in hopes it would make me jump higher...fast-forward to current day and she is a 200-hour certified vinyasa yoga teacher. There were many adventures in athletics and yoga in-between, of course, and there still are today. Moving her body feels like home no matter where Casey goes with volleyball taking her to Holland and Huntington Beach, CA and yoga moving her to Seattle, WA. The... Read the profile >>

Yoga gave him a taste of that vigorous, yet gentle beauty without having to leave his room. Tim enjoys the juxtaposition of yoga's simplicity and complexity, and the simple fact that one can have a practice that is invigorating and relaxing for the body, mind, and spirit on a little person-sized mat.
