I love being an instructor. There is nothing more inspiring than watching someone come to the realization that willpower can out-flex any muscle in the human body. I am constantly telling people, "You are stronger than you think you are....trust me". People can overcome what they once deemed an insurmountable obstacle either physical or mental through sheer willpower. It's awesome.
I love anything hot, sunny, and salty with my husband and son. We are beach rats so surfing, tide pooling, ocean swimming, paddle boarding, beach football....you name it, I'm game.
I love planning and participating in events that motivate and inspire people to give of themselves. Nothing feeds the human soul like giving to others.
I love running with my very large black German Shepard. He's the perfect running partner! Always available, protective, fast, and truly happy when the wind is whipping by us.
I love training, walking, running, biking, or hiking with my husband and friends. Going to lunch to socialize is not part of my repertoire. I catch up with loved ones while sucking wind.
I love inspiring others to do really good things If I had a million dollars, I would start my own non-profit with a focus on people overcoming obstacles through the strength of the human spirit. We would search out heroes who have done something amazing in spite of major challenges. They would inspire and motivate the rest of us to keep focusing on what "might be" with just a little extra effort. We would change the world through positive self talk and inspiring messages.......if I had a million dollars......Or, I would give all of it to an elephant sanctuary.
