Alexandra has been practicing yoga since 2003. Initially, she was drawn to the physical aspect of it to increase her strength and flexibility, but she soon discovered that yoga is more focused on calming the mind, breath awareness, and connecting on a deeper level with yourself and others. Alexandra's life has been transformed in many ways throughout her yoga journey, and she believes it can be a powerful tool to dig deep within ourselves and uncover our true nature while working towards freedom and happiness. Her dedication to her practice led her to complete her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2010 as well as Vinyasa Teacher Training with Seane Corn, an internationally celebrated yoga teacher and activist. Lindsey White

Lindsey took her first Pure Barre class in December 2010 and was instantly hooked. Having danced both for fun and competitively since she was three, this was the workout of her dreams. Seeing how quickly her body transformed into long lean muscle by the technique was amazing and she knew she wanted to share this with other women. Raised in Coppell, TX, fitness and a healthy lifestyle were a big part of her life growing up along with a competitive spirit. She attended Southern Methodist University and received a degree in Psychology and Sociology. After college, she found herself working at a hedge fund; the fast pace, high intensity and unique corporate culture made for many exciting challenges. Melanie Taylor

My name is Melanie Taylor and I have been practicing yoga for 15 years. I discovered yoga, or as I like to say, yoga discovered me after the birth of my first baby. From my first class I was hooked! And now, 15 years and five kids later, it is just a part of who I am. Almost four years ago I made the transition to teaching and fell in love with yoga all over again. It is a blessing to be able to share yoga this way, and I will do it until I am 100! I am trained in the Baron Baptiste style of Power Vinyasa as a 200 RYT with over 300 hours of continuing education. My passion for teaching yoga is fueled by how much joy and connection I see students start to experience with this powerful practice. Stephanie Thompson

Stephanie Thompson has always enjoyed physical activities, cheerleading and gymnastics were a part of her everyday life when she was younger. In 2001 she found her way into her first Hot Power Yoga class and it was love at first Dancers Pose. After two years of practicing 4-5 times a week she completed teacher training through a local studio and began teaching. Yearning for more training she completed her 200 Hour RYT in December of 2006. Being immersed in training was one of the best times of her life. Through various workshops, she was introduced to the world of arm balances and inversions and her world has never been the same.
