I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan with an active and sport driven family. I attended Northwood University where I was recruited to compete on both the soccer and basketball teams. After earning my bachelors in sports management I went on to pursue my masters in business administration.
After graduating with my masters and completing my collegiate career as an athlete, I found comfort in running. However, running was short lived as I was introduced to CrossFit in 2010 when I relocated to St. Louis, Missouri.
I left my corporate career in 2013 to pursue a career in fitness. I currently coach and manage CrossFit Gambit where I am surrounded by people who are passionate about health and fitness and who have made a commitment to better themselves.
I live in Benton Park with my boyfriend, Andrew, who gets credit for introducing me to CrossFit. We have a yorkshire terrier named Bogey who is considered our gym mascot. When not training (myself or others) I can be found eating at local restaurants, cooking Paleo friendly meals for family and friends, spending time outdoors, or curled up on my couch watching a movie.
