Heather's career arc has been a natural progression from a childhood love of gymnastics. Her gymnastics career piqued a curiosity and love of human anatomy. Heather channeled this interest into a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri. During countless continuing Ed courses, fitness courses and re-certifications, Heather found a new outlet for her passion and accumulated studies. She has taught strength training classes, Mat Pilates, and Reformer Pilates in a private, semi-private and group training setting but it was the group training that Heather found most rewarding. Leeny began crossfitting in 2007 and knew immediately that she had found something she was passionate about. She became a Level 1 certified trainer in 2009, and continued her education by attending CrossFit seminars in basic barbell training and Olympic lifting. A native of South Africa, Liane has more than 15 years of experience as a personal trainer working with professional athletes as well as individuals of all levels and specializes in sport specific and functional training. She designs and customizes 5k, 10k, half and full marathon training programs according to the individuals’ fitness level and goals. Michelle “Missy” Gurrola is a full-time fitness professional with a background in ballet and jazz. She’s been teaching yoga since 2001 and has had the opportunity to study with many of the greats, including Steve Ross, Seane Corn, David Swensen and Doug Swensen. She also holds certifications in pilates, group fitness, yogafit and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching. In class Missy creates a safe, and light-hearted environment for students to explore their minds, bodies and the connection between the two.
