Milena developed an intense yoga practice in 2005 where she immediately noticed the positive influence it brought to her life. She teaches a strong, creative class with a lot of focus on breath and alignment. She is intense yet light-hearted and compassionate in her teaching style. She offers a child-like curiosity, teaching her students to find freedom on their mats. Her classes offer a dynamic blend of postures rooted in the ancient style of Ashtanga Yoga. She has the gift to be able to work with the body in front of her and realizes how different our physical shells may be, but how united we are as a collective, universal energy. Milena strives to make each of her classes a moving, breathing meditation, allowing her students to develop flexibility, gain strength and focus the mind, as well as enabling them to captivate self-awareness."My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to understand the mind-body-soul connection and to bring more joy into life."
