Dexter is a fighter, personal trainer, father and… a Macho man who loves lululemon clothing and has a big sweet tooth.

Dexter has been a fighter for 31 years now; it is who he is, his way of life.
In 1980 he started training under Master Paul Chan at Hong Luck Kung Fu
Club in Toronto. In 1983, after three years of vigorous training in boxing, kickboxing and kung fu, he became an assistant instructor and toured China with Hong Luck. He performed various kung fu demonstrations and defeated the 1985 Hong Kong champ in his first kickboxing fight.
Dexter is still a member of Hong Luck Kung Fu Club and he donates his time once a week to train the club.

Dexter trains at Cambridge Group of Clubs: Adelaide Club, Cambridge Club, and Toronto Athletic Club. He works as a personal trainer one-on-one, and leads boxing and kickboxing group classes.

Dexter works out about 2 hours a day, even when he’s on vacation. He has a major sweet tooth, but always strives to work it off the day after he indulges in cookies.

Dexter is aiming to spread his business and train more women fighters. He also wants to organize more shows. Dexter’s BHAG is to "marry" yoga and boxing; it's yin-&-yang. He believes they need each other for strength and flexibility, and inner peace and concentration.
