Planet Rock
When Brian was 4 years old he was doing crafts with his sister. The scissors being used fell below the table and when Brian went to retrieve them, Brian spotted an electrical socket at the far end of the table. Much to his surprise the blades fit perfectly in one of the slots. The doctors never 'officially' confirmed this but family members surrounding him at the time attest to the fact that Brian's creative spark was lit that day...his right hand especially.
Brian will do anything, he loves to learn, create and experience life. When he is not working at Planet Rock as a climbing instructor, he is making rock climbing holds for the Detroit Rock Climbing Company as the 'Master Caster'. If he's not at 'work' during the summer he is skydiving or packing parachutes at Midwest Freefall. In winter you can find him teaching wheel throwing at Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio and attending Yoga classes (Hot Vinyasa is his favorite)
Brian is pursuing a career as an Orthotics and Prosthetics Practitioner and currently is in school (for a second time around, kudos to anyone who has done this). As mentioned above he enjoys learning, he also has a desire to helps others by leveraging his creative talents and 'experience life' attitude.
Brian has a dog named 'Lady' that acts more like a cat. He has an awesome older sibling that he looks up to but interestingly enough, she refuses to cross a street if there is no cross walk present. His biggest pet peeve is not being able to remember his pet peeve when asked if he has any. The Seawall Pants are his favorite piece of clothing from Lululemon. He has a 'Duck Crossing' sign Tattoo. He thinks the Pontiac Aztech is a functional vehicle and could have been a top seller had the designers spent a little more time at the design table. He really liked the show 'Lost' but felt the ending was forced to a close leaving a lot of questions unanswered. Autumn is his favorite season and he sometimes can be observed staring up at trees. He surfed Lake Michigan during every month of the year from August 2004 to August 2005. He likes random facts about people!
