As with most, yoga began as a physical workout for Regina Franco, but as her practice grew and self-awareness deepened, yoga transformed her heart and mind. The inner peace and balance experienced through yoga allows her to be actively present in her life, even through all of its idiosyncrasies.
Regina’s mantra for life is “live with mindful curiosity”. When judgment, fear and attachments are eliminated, possibilities are infinite… It is with this belief that Regina has created a unique opportunity for her to positively influence humankind. In addition to being a yogi, she is a full time attorney and owns Serendipity Yoga in Ferndale, Michigan. Often she is asked which one of these “roles” she will give up and her answer remains consistent: Neither, BOTH are her passions. Regina believes in humanity and both “roles” allow her opportunities to change individual lives therefore creating a positive ripple effect on the rest of the world. As an attorney, she has the voice and education to advocate for and protect human rights. As a yogi, she has the ability to teach love and compassion in order to sustain the continuation of humanity.
Regina is forever a student in this heart journey. She finds infinite joy in discovering the radiance and beauty of her own life but what keeps her fully nourished and truly inspired is assisting others discover their own divine inner light.
When she is not in the courtroom, you can find Regina teaching classes at her studio Serendipity Yoga. Her classes are unique and challenging but always heart centered; filled with love and laughter as the class flows to the sounds of sweet electronic dance beats.
