Studio of the Month: Passage to Yoga
Every Sunday in March from 11-12
Passage to Yoga’s approach is to develop a sense of mindfulness and balance, which can be integrated into a healthy, positive outlook on exercise, diet, world issues and community.
Passage to Yoga is also a member of the Green Yoga Association. Our studio is designed according to the principles of health, harmony and responsibility ensuring that the space we practice and breathe in supports not just your health but the health of the planet as well.
Matthew Darling is the director of Passage to Yoga. He has been a devoted student of his teacher, the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and the Ashtanga method since 1995. In 2002, Pattabhi Jois authorized Matthew to teach the method of Ashtanga yoga. He is currently the only teacher in the Midwest to receive this blessing.
Matthew is also the director and instructor of Ashtanga Michigan in Royal Oak, Michigan. Ashtanga Michigan offers Ashtanga classes in the traditional Mysore-style as it is still taught in India today. (passagetoyoga.com)
