Like so many others, I began my yoga practice at home, with a TV show. I moved on to classes at the YMCA, and knew quickly that I needed to teach. I felt it in my soul.
I received my 200 hour certification and began teaching at the YMCA, Gold's Gym, Inner Peace Yoga and now Salt Yoga. My philosophy is simple. We practice yoga to feel good physically, mentally, and spiritually. I teach power yoga because that is what comes most authentically to me. I believe our body is the most important instrument we will ever have and it should be treated with love and respect every single day. People come to yoga for a reason, and ever reason is a good one. Everyone is welcome in my class, always.
