Ellen Miller

Endurance/Athletic Coach: Vail Athletic Club

Ellen is a USATF Certified Level 2 Endurance/Athletic Coach, and works as an Outdoor Fitness Coach in the Vail Valley. She is the Coach/Manager of the US Women's Mountain Running Team. She is the only American woman to climb Mt. Everest from both Nepal and Tibet 2 (1 of 5 women in the world) and she works guiding treks and climbs in the Himalaya. Beyond her world-wide extensive climbing resume, Ellen has also climbed other Himalayan 8000-meter peaks Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Manaslu in 2010. In 2013, she became the second woman in history to climb Nuptse, and complete the "Everest Trilogy.' In 2002, she was voted Colorado Sportswoman of the Year for longevity and achievement in athletics. John Mark Seelig

John Mark Seelig moved to Colorado in 2004 with his wife. They were both lovers of skiing and the mountains, but quickly realized the Summers would become their true passion. John Mark became a raft guide that first summer and now owns Lakota Guides, a thriving rafting and outdoor adventure company in the Vail Valley. The whitewater community in the valley continues to be a close knit group of mountain lovers. John Mark and his wife had backgrounds in fitness before coming to Vail, but fitness has "new skin" as John Mark Seelig is a Ski Patroller at Beaver Creek and the captain of the US Men's Rafting Team. Julia Clark

Julia's love of yoga, music and adventure has taken her far from her hometown of Glasgow, Scotland over the last decade. Her natural wanderlust brought her to America as a college exchange student in 2001, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Journalism. She spent eight years working as a radio DJ and music promoter for the recording industry in Kansas City, Vermont, Boston and New York City before deciding to fulfill a lifelong desire to teach yoga. Seeking fresh air, adventure, and the time to enjoy both, it didn't take long for Julia to settle on Vail, Colorado as her ideal playground. Kim Fuller grew up playing in the Colorado mountains. As a yoga teacher and a freelance writer, Kim is always excited to share movement and words with the world. She finds inspiration for teaching and writing through the love of nature, paired with the power of igniting energy, language connection. Kim has a love for outdoor activities that yoga complements — running, biking, hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowshoeing — and she also enjoys keeping up with her interests in photography, guitar, reading and cooking. Natalie stumbled upon CrossFit at a local indoor rock climbing gym in July 2009. Although intimidated at first, she was hooked after her first workout. CrossFit quickly became her new fix; it was challenging, exciting, competitive, and rewarding all at the same time. She was sold on CrossFit and committed to the sport, making time to schedule CrossFit into her busy lifestyle of school, work, and life. Born and raised in Yorkshire, England, Nicola made her way across the pond, age 23, and found her husband and her yoga practice in Vail, Colorado! A student first, teacher second she began teaching in 2005 and has attended a diverse range of workshops and trainings since then. When yoga became a lifestyle for Nicola she adopted a vegan diet and a more compassionate way of life.
