Jackie is probably one of the most organized people you will ever meet. Although without her notebook, calendars, and post-it notes, she would be lost. She is friendly, generous and always laughing. Jackie has a warm, loving heart and is known amongst her friends as the “mom” because she is always looking out for everyone else. Following in the traits of her Cancer horoscope, she is usually guided by her emotions in any decision she makes. Becoming a Moksha yoga instructor was a natural progression for Jackie to share something she was passionate about with those around her. In high school Jackie developed a desire to pursue a career in the television and film industry. I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself, the face of CrossFit Vortex. CrossFit Voretex challenges you in ways you will never expect, not just physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It sounds deep; but for most, that statement holds truth. Exercise and healthy living has always been an interest of mine. In 2009 I was introduced to the sport by a friend of mine and since then have never looked back. As is the situation for many, it took my fitness to a completely new level and changed my life for the better. Teaching at CrossFit Vortex is my passion and I am proud to have a gym I can call my own. All are welcome in the Vortex, no matter what your level of fitness. Everyone starts somewhere. Ever since Laura was a young girl dancing has been second nature to her, where there is music Laura will be dancing! She received training in several forms of dance, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and Latin ballroom. A few years ago she attended a dance fitness class and completely fell in love with this form of exercise! It was a combination of her two passions, fitness and dancing. As an instructor, Laura has been able to bring many people together to form new friendships and create a warm environment where individuality is enforced. She incorporates many forms of dance in order to experience diverse cultures.
