Debbie Miller
Debbie Miller has been dedicated to proactively changing lives through health and fitness for the past 25 years. As a personal trainer, group instructor, fitness consultant and fitness educator, she has inspired clients, students, and fitness colleagues nationwide.
Initially involved in medical health management, Debbie focused her training on those with special needs, such as obesity, arthritis, cardiac rehabilitation and the elderly. Currently, she volunteers her time leading exercise classes for those with cancer, and dedicates a large portion of her personal training work toward those battling or recovering from cancer.
Selected as a Master Instructor for Spinning® in 1997, Debbie has been a cycling instructor for 15 years and is a close friend of Johnny G, the founder and creator of Spinning®. Recently she became involved in the development of Johnny’s new product, the Krankcycle®. An avid cardio enthusiast, Debbie enjoys distance running and teaching a variety of cardio classes.
Debbie’s teaching style has been highlighted in Conde Naste’s Sports for Women, and she has consulted with local television on various health and fitness topics. She received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 1984, and has been certified through the American Council on Exercise since 1995. She has taught courses in Anatomy, Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology as a presenter for certification programs. She strives to not only motivate her clients to exercise harder, but also educates them to exercise smarter.
She has been teaching for The Sports Club/LA in Washington DC for the past nine years; she also teaches at Equinox in Tysons Corner, VA, and works privately with clients in her home studio in Georgetown.
