Michelle completed her second Ironman on May 1, 2010 in St. George Utah where she qualified for Kona‘s World Champion Ironman Race. She is most proud of the fact that she had the fastest amateur bike split of the race and was the 12th woman overall, including Professionals. Michelle is an elite triathlete who coaches all 3 disciplines and has lots of tips on effective training for triathlon. Her 2011 race schedule includes the New Orleans Half, The Washington DC Triathlon, The Nation's Triathlon, The Army Ten Mile, and ITU Long Course Triathlon World Championships.


Michelle is currently attending American University evening part time program for her MBA and will graduate in May, 2012. By day she is working as Program Director for ACHIEVE Kids Tri. ACHIEVE is a free six week summer camp for at-risk kids 9 to 14 teaching them fitness, nutrition, and life long exercise habits through the sport of triathlon. Aside from learning the essentials of swim, bike, run, strength & flexibility, they also learn about self-motivation, discipline and determination.
