She is known for her approachability and ability to communicate to students and teachers how to move the body more efficiently.

Learning never ends and Kathryn is committed to making the classical work accessible and has worked closely with physical therapists, gaining insight into how to use Pilates for pre-hab and re-hab. Additionally, Kathryn has also studies with Pilates elder Mary Bowen and master teachers Kathy Corey, Zoey Trap, Clare Dunphy, Coleen Glen, Michael Fritzke, Ton Voogt and others.

From an early age Kathryn knew her life’s purpose was to help others feel their best. Although she started her career as an indoor cycling instructor and personal trainer she quickly recognizing the trans-formative power of Pilates and then a few years later yoga.Drawn to Jivamukti Yoga Kathryn’s avid practice as a student, soon blossomed into a desire to share this beautiful method with students. In 2010 she completed her 300 hour Jivamukti Yoga instructor certification. Since that time she has taken regular opportunities to continue studies with the Jivamukti Founders and advanced teachers in New York. She thanks Sharon Gannon, David Life, Janaki, Bhakta Das and her other wonderful Jivamukti mentors for helping reveal the practice that is yoga.

Kathryn believes nutrition plays an important role in fostering holistic (physical, mental and spiritual) wellness. In addition to being a certified nutritionist Kathryn is studying with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to certify as a holistic health coach. She uses Dr Junger’s CLEAN program and her own knowledge of whole foods/plant based eating to lead groups through a one month detox program. She believe in bio-individuality and works with individuals to help them identify which food best serve their unique needs.

Whether through Pilates, yoga or nutrition Kathryn works to honor each individual student or teacher’s potential and help them to recognize and achieve it.
